Cooling House using remaining Renewable Energy

As discussed on a group interview with Transsolar ( http://opensimsim.net/beta/anotherarchitect-transsolar-pod-design ) the idea is to produce ice with the remaining energy provided for renewable sources. That way the energy is stored as ice cubes that can be used to cool down the inside temperature of the house or even from offices.

nutnut concept 13 - video post 2

See video

Starting with the full range of 21 nutshells a basic pNut is formed using the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, library and a storage nutshell. The pNut then runs through a series of domestic scenarios demonstrating the flexibility of the system and the space within which it is installed; going nuts, with guests, bedtime and finally when the inhabitant is away there is nuting going on.

Demonstrating the flexibility of the Nunut as the pNut is subsequently upgraded and expanded. The top storage is replaced with the office nutshell, the staircase and the living room nutshells are added, the side opening bedroom is replaced with an end opening one and an entertainments unit is added.

Following a demonstration of the movement between the compacted, closed components and the open usable living spaces the individual components return the nutshell line up, ready to be arranged into the next personal living requirements.
